The King Gediminas is pictured as a militant ruler and a diplomat. On his helmet howls a legendary iron wolf. In the background lies a panorama of a 14th century Vilnius. The Latin inscription translates to GEDIMINAS IN THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF LITHUANIA.
