"The Tyszkiewicz Family" is the seventeenth medal from the collection "Majestic Lithuania".

Tyszkiewicz - the noble family of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of ruthenian origin. Emerged in the XVI century and the greatest political power has gained in the second half of the XVII century, in XIX century they became the richest landowners in Lithuania. Amongst the family representatives there were 9 voivods, 2 bishops, 3 hetmans, 3 castellans, 3 treasurers and 4 great marshals.
